Promptchan is first and foremost an image generator. Its diffusion models are trained on anime and manga data, so stylized characters come out consistently well and fast, while photorealistic output is a mixed bag and hands remain the usual giveaway. Beyond the test Two things a short session hides. The Gem economy has been repriced before, with one report noting Plus dropped from 300 Gems to 100 at the same $11.99, which roughly tripled the cost per image without the sticker moving, so check the live allocation before you pay. And the platform has removed features that users built workflows on, most notably the ability to upload an outside image for editing, which left paying users stranded. Reviews average a healthy 4.2 to 4.8, but almost every serious complaint is about the economy around the images rather than the images themselves. |
