Simon serves as the main front end for the open source speech recognition solution. It functions as a Simond client with a graphical user interface for managing speech models and commands. Simon executes commands based on input from the Simond server. It enables creation of language and acoustic models from scratch through an end-user interface. Users download use cases from others or share their own. The architecture supports all languages and dialects, including mixed languages in one model. Command-and-control solutions work especially for disabled people. This app is unmaintained and no longer released by the KDE community.
