HTK provides a set of library modules and tools in C source form. The tools offer facilities for speech analysis, HMM training, testing, and results analysis. It supports HMMs using continuous density mixture Gaussians and discrete distributions. HTK enables building complex HMM systems. Originally developed at the Cambridge University Engineering Department, it includes extensive documentation and examples.
HTK is free to download after registration with a valid email address. The toolkit is provided in source form under its license terms
