Chinese artificial intelligence company Moonshot AI has released Kimi K3, a new open-source model that is drawing attention for its competitive performance and renewing concerns about the growing technological rivalry between China and the United States.

US Technology Leaders Warn About Competition

David Sacks, a former AI adviser to the Trump administration and co-chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, argued that American companies are being restricted by regulations, resistance to new data centers, and proposals for greater government oversight.
